Heber Reece is a member of the Killer Whale Clan of the Tsimshian Nation from northern BC.  He currently lives in Los Angeles.   He comes from a long line of carvers and has been carving since he was a child.  He studied at the K'san Carving School in Hazelton BC.  His list of teachers includes Vernon Stephens, Victor Reece, Henry Green, Art Sterritt, and Earl Muldoe.  He carves totem poles, masks, rattles, bowls, paddles, panels, and creates many other works of art.  He is considered a master carver.
