The four sides of a bentbox are made of one sheet steamed and bent. The open corner is dowelled or attached with copper nails. Then it's attached to the base and the lid is fitted on. This type of box traditionally had many uses - storage, shipping,cooking. They are used today as art objects or for storing precious things.
