Alvin Adkins is a Haida artist. He was born in Prince rupert in 1959. He primarily creates jewelry. His style is very recognizable, characterized by smooth, deep and wide gouging. Alvin is self taught but was influenced by many renowned northern artists, and his brothers are also established jewellers.
