Francisco and Velina made these bags.  They are very traditional.  Every two or three years they make the long treck from the Sierra to the coast to sell their wares.  The live in an extraordinarily reclusive village called la Tapia which is almost 2 days by foot from San Andres Cohamita the main Huichol ceremonial center, which itself is isolated high in the mountains.
