Gemstone grade ammolite only exists in the territory of the Kainai (Blood), the Pikuni (Peigan), and the Siksika (Blackfoot) Indians of Southern Alberta. Native People recognize the spiritual significance of the ammolite: prosperity and good health to the person in contact with it.
