"When I was designing and making this piece it was Bill Reid who came to mind. And his massive contributions to the continuation of Haida art. More specifically his work in jewelry and repousse and chasing. In a way it's my homage to him. I've always loved jewelry and even more repouse. For me it represent the pinnacle of NWC jewelry. I wanted this bracelet to showcase my skills as an artist and jeweler. I wanted to push this piece to the max and I think I've done that. As well as having fine designing and engraving in it too".
