Read about Alano Edzerza.

The Taku River runs from the northwestern BC interior through the Alaska panhandle to the Pacific ocean.  The Taku River basin composed of a network of lakes, streams and tributaries is one of the largest pristine watersheds in the world.  This is the territory of the Tahltan and Tlingit Peoples who have sustained themselves with the bounty of the river since time immemorial.  The wealth of food provided enabled the People to develop a rich culture which is still thriving today.
