#8 Turquoise Stud Earrings
These earrings were sold but we can acquire another similar pair. The stones are1/2" long. The earrings are 1" long, from the #8 turquoise mine in Nevada. Hand made by Navajo artists Randy and Etta Endito.

A golden brown spider web matrix sets off the bright powder blue background. Set in an fantastic silver bezel.
The #8 turquoise mine in Eureka County north of Carlin, Nevada was discovered in 1925 and first mined in 1929. At present, the mine is closed to turquoise mining.
The mine produced some of the highest quality and largest nuggets of turquoise ever discovered. It has certain characteristic colors and the spider web matrix varies from golden brown to black. This turquoise is very easily identified.
