Cecilio is originally from Las Guyabas, a ceremonial centre located deep in the canyon below San Andres Cohamiata. He was forced to move to Tepic to continue studying because his community didn't have a high school. Cecilio is a young artist who creates detailed life-like scenes of his culture's traditional ceremonies. With a unique sense of colour and contrast, he creates stunning works of art.
