American turquoise is becoming depleted.  Many mines are now closed and less than 5% of the stones mined are jewelry quality.  Bisbee is one of the most rare and expensive of all the varieties of turquoise and it will only go up.  The brilliant blue stone with brown or reddish brown matrix is easy to identify.  A very hard high quality stone.  This turquoise is known to have powerful healing properties.  It is good for health and happiness generally, and it is particularly helpful for respiratory conditions.

The Bisbee mine has been closed since the 1980's.  Any Bisbee available on the market today was mined before that event.  It is sought after.  A collectors item.
