The Carico Lake Mine is in Lander County, Nevada. This turquoise is known for its iridescent, spring green color which is due to its zinc and copper content. The colors and scarcity of Carico Lake turquoise make it a valuable addition to any collection.  The artist is Tahltan from northern BC but he spends part of the year in the southwestern US, mining turquoise and creating high end one of a kind jewelry pieces.

Sugilite is a relatively rare purple crystal gemstone the colour of grape jelly.  It is found in Canada and a few places in the world.  It is believed to have healing properties to protect against and overcome negative emotions and relieve stress.
