Tumalo is Pendleton's newest blanket design. The central medallion represents Tumalo Mountain in Oregon’s high Cascades. From the peak is viewed other volcanic mountains - Three Sisters, Broken Top, and Mount Bachelor. Smaller lines and ridges represent Tumalo State Park on the banks of the Deschutes River, home to Tumalo falls.
