The Native Butterfly is a symbol of transformation and rebirth encouraging us to embrace the concept of change and metamorphosis as an integral part of life. It reminds us that change is not to be feared but celebrated
In northwest coast Native culture the Butterfly is a companion and guide to the Raven. He often leads raven to food sources and or to hiding places of creatures concealed from him. This cooperation between the butterfly and the raven illustrates the interconnectedness and balance in nature.
