Alano is a Tahltan multimedia artist and entrepreneur based in West Vancouver, British Columbia. He has had numerous group shows and solo shows in Canada and abroad and is one of the key artists in the contemporary northwest coast art movement.
Alano (born 1981) is Tahltan from northwest BC. He began creating art when he was a child. His family are very involved in Indigenous arts. He underwent serious training with his uncle Terrence Campbell. He is a painter, a carver and a designer. He has produced a clothing line showing his West Coast Native designs for many years. He designs installations such as large glass panels and carved wall panels. He has an extensive online store and he ships his artwork all over the world.
