The Cowichan Tribes registered “Cowichan”, “Genuine Cowichan”, and “Genuine Cowichan Approved” as trademarks for goods hand-knit in accordance with the traditional methods by members of the Coast Salish Nation using unprocessed, undyed, hand-spun wool.
