Andy Everson is from Comox, and has Kwak'waka'wakw heritage as well.  His art has a contemporary look but is rooted in tradition.  He learned from his Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers.  He also obtained a masters degree in anthropology.  He has been producing art since he was a child.  He is also a singer, dancer, and storyteller.  Much of his art is created digitally on a computer.  He is skilled at giclee and screen printing, as well as painting, carving, regalia production, and photography.

With his wife Erin Brillon he operates a gallery and gift shop on the Comox reserve.  They also have a shop for producing designer clothing and houseware with art produced by Andy and Erin's brother Jesse Brillon.
