This exceptional pendant was created by the late Squamish / Kwak’waka’wakw master jewelry artist Richie Baker. The hand carved killer whale appears to be breaching the surface. Perhaps the ammolite stone represents the ocean water reflecting a sunrise. A 14 kt gold eye adds richness to the design. The killer whale is a central northwest coast Native crest originating in spiritual experience with whales long in the past.
