Silver, gold and copper cuff bracelets available with traditional Northwest Coast Native crest designs. Native art jewelry created by techniques including engraving, onlaying gold on silver, stone setting, and repouse and chasing. Created by local Native artists Richie Baker, Mathew Baker, Jay Simeon, Terrence Campbell, Alvin Adkins, Andrew Williams and others.
Bracelets came into widespread use by Native People during the period of the potlatch ban. The tattoos that people wore to show their crests were banned or strongly discouraged. So people replaced them with bracelets that could worn then removed when necessary.
