Hand-carved Indigenous wall panels and plaques from Northwest Coast artists

Shop hand-carved Indigenous wall panels and plaques made in cedar by named Northwest Coast artists. Every piece is an original carving, not a print, made by an artist from the Haida, Gitxsan, Coast Salish, Kwak'waka'wakw, Haisla or Tahltan nations. Prices range from about C$400 to C$15,000 depending on size, depth of carving and artist.

Northern formline panels. Bold lines and tightly composed figures by Haida, Gitxsan and Tahltan artists, from Corey Bulpitt's Mouse Woman panel to the Gitxsan Eagle Panel with Blue Accents and Alano Edzerza's Taku Red.

Coast Salish panels. Open, flowing compositions built from circles, crescents and trigons, such as the Coast Salish Bear Panel and the 24 inch Coast Salish Wolf Carving. Learn how the two traditions differ in our guide to Coast Salish design vs formline.

Haisla and Kwak'waka'wakw carvings. Black Raven and Orca wall carvings by Haisla artist Brad Star, and Kwak'waka'wakw work including the Canoe Panel by Jimmy Joseph.

Crests and stories. Many panels show family crests such as Eagle, Raven and Killer Whale, or scenes from traditional stories. Our guide to reading family and clan crests on wall panels explains what to look for.

Size and placement. Panels range from 20 inch carvings to large statement pieces. Our room-by-room guide to choosing the right size wall panel shows how to measure your wall and hang a heavy cedar panel safely.

Every piece is documented with the artist's name and nation. We ship across Canada, the U.S., and internationally; currency switching is available for EUR, GBP, USD, AUD, CNY, HKD, JPY, and NZD. Questions about a specific panel? Get in touch directly.
